An Incubator for Local Food Entrepreneurs

The Food Business Training Program at Three Sisters Kitchen was designed to create opportunities for aspiring manufactured food entrepreneurs who have big ideas, but limited financial capital. Entrepreneurs explore their productconcepts and determine what a viable food business means for them. Our cohort model centers opportunities for peer learning and support.

How the Program Works

Our Food Business Training Program offers opportunities for food entrepreneurs and young food businesses to experiment, make mistakes, learn, and adjust to create viable manufactured food products.

The Food Business Training Program at Three Sisters Kitchen provides commercial equipment and supplies, real world training, community resources, and industry-specific services to support manufactured food entrepreneurs as they start and grow their businesses. The program runs once a year, for 15 weeks, and focuses on value-added production and new manufactured food business development.

Early Stage Support

For graduates who pursue new business development we offer continued support
  • Free access to commercial kitchen space for up to two years.
  • One-on-one business and marketing consultations.
  • Product development assistance.
  • Food safety and certification training.
  • Retail exposure at the TSK Café and markets.

Ashokra Farm

Ashokra Farm (pronounced Uh-shoak-rah) is a small diversified vegetable farm in the north valley of Albuquerque. They specialize in growing okra (13 varieties) and have a value-added product, Okra Crisps, that they produce at Three Sisters Kitchen. Currently, they offer 3 flavors - salted, red chile, and masala.

Fiesta on the Go

Driven by their experiences supporting both frontline healthcare workers and military personnel, Lilia and Silvia were inspired to launch Fiesta on the Go. It was out of this dual sense of empathy and culinary passion that their dehydrated salsas and easy to make meals were born, bringing a taste of home to loved ones abroad.

Fiesta On the Go firmly believes that delicious, wholesome food should be simple to prepare and accessible to everyone. They offer quick, easy, and affordable meal options that can be conveniently ordered from home.

NM ChileJang/Kyle Key

Locally crafted gochujang, a fermented korean chile paste. Made with local ingredients and aged for 90 days. This is the first of its kind for our state and only second in the country. NM ChileJang is changing the New Mexico food scene by introducing fermentation to one of our favorite ingredients and paving a way for future generations to pursue fermentation.

Soma Auvardica

Founded by Anthony Fierro and based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Soma Ayurvedika is a mindful and simple living platform used to promote and facilitate a healthy lifestyle. Their approach is rooted in the timeless traditions and ancient wisdom teachings from the Vedic civilization of India. They utilize Ayurvedic and Yogic principles and honor traditional indigenous cultures to create thoughtfully designed products for your journey on the path of self-discovery and natural holistic ways of living.

They specialize in making spice mixes, medicinal tea blends, tea biscuits, and other sweets, snacks, and herbal products. All of their ingredients and products are responsibly sourced and mindfully produced.

Sugar Moon Syrups was born out of the combined culinary and bar passions of owner and operator Paige Alvarez. Always experimenting and testing, Paige sought to make traditional recipes indistinguishable from their fresh scratch-made counterparts and has since developed five unique flavors of high-quality, thoughtfully crafted beverage syrups.
