National Diabetes Prevention Program (NDPP)
Learn to nourish your body for lifelong wellness.
The CDC-recognized National Diabetes Prevention Program helps participants reduce their risk for type 2 diabetes through nutrition, physical activity, and behavioral support. At TSK, NDPP brings evidence-based education to life through hands-on learning, group connection, and the joy of local food.
Participants explore:
Practical strategies for healthy eating and cooking with local ingredients.
Tips for sustainable lifestyle changes and stress management.
Ongoing group support from trained facilitators and peers.
Walk With Ease
Move together, feel better.
The Arthritis Foundation’s Walk With Ease program helps participants increase mobility, reduce pain, and build confidence through guided walking sessions and peer support. At TSK, we support four Walk With Ease cohorts each year.
Participants benefit from:
Safe, supportive group walks led by trained instructors.
Simple exercises and stretches for joint health.
